FrameMaker 5.1.1 Update -- All 14 Disks

DESCRIPTION
This archive contains all 14 FrameMaker 5.1.1 update installation
disks. To install FrameMaker 5.1.1, you need the mkr511.sea file
described here and your FrameMaker 5.x serial number. There is no

FrameMaker 5.1.1 update installation disk separately, or you can
order the FrameMaker 5.1.1 update installation disks (see below).

This update is a fat binary application which will work on both 68K
Macintosh and Power Macintosh computers. PowerMac-only and 68K-only
versions of the update are not available, either online or offline.

INSTALLATION NOTES
1. If your computer uses software that automatically checks for
viruses, temporarily disable that software before you install
FrameMaker, since it may cause problems during installation. You may
re-enable your virus-checking software and scan for viruses after
installing FrameMaker.
2. If you are installing FrameMaker on a disk other than the startup
disk, make sure file sharing is turned off before you start the
installation. (The startup disk is the disk that has a System
Folder.) To turn off file sharing, open the Sharing Setup control
panel and click Stop in the File Sharing area. After installing
FrameMaker, you can turn file sharing on again.
3. When you are ready to begin the installation, double-click
"FrameMaker Installer," which is located in the "Disk 1" folder.
4. Follow the on-screen installation instructions to complete the
installation.

NOTE: For FrameMaker to run, you must have at least one dictionary
installed. If you want to install the minimum files necessary, be
sure to turn on the Dictionaries option in the Customize dialog box
as well as the FrameMaker 5 option.

For additional last-minute tips and information, open the online
Release Notes -- available from the Online Manuals pop-up menu on the
Help Main Menu -- after you have successfully installed FrameMaker.
